National Dog Day at Wonderlab!

Additional Information:	For the 5th year, GPA Indianapolis has been invited to celebrate National Dog Day at the Wonderlab Science Museum. Our Greyhounds are always a very popular attraction at this event, making this a fun day for all! All-American Horse Classic/Children's Fest

Where:	West Pavilion, IN State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis IN
Additional Information:	The All-American Horse Classic attracts the nation's top riders and horses to compete for over $750,000 in awards and prize money. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome to the Children's Fest, which features rescue groups, face painting, miniature horses, and the opportunity to decorate and take home a stick horse! 57th Annual Zionsville Fall Festival

Greyhound Pets of America - Indianapolis 9th Annual Picnic

GUEST SPEAKER: Dr. Guillermo Couto, Director of the Ohio State University Greyhound Health & Wellness Program. Internationally known expert on the health issues of retired racing Greyhounds. Carmel Dog Day Afternoon

Additional Information:	Grab your leashes in the greyhound grip and volunteer for this event which takes place in the Arts District. The event benefits the Hamilton County Humane Society and features unique shopping opportunities, entertaiment, food, and adoptable animals. Quaker Day Festival

We have a tent with sides, heaters, floor mats for the hounds, chairs for the volunteers, and hot chocolate if it is cold. All we need is you and your hounds! Dirty Dogs & Suds

Additional Information:	Come one, come all to our latest and greytest dog wash at Healthy Hounds to benefit GPA Indy! GPA volunteers will wash any and all dogs for $12; additionally, nail trims are available by a vet tech for $8. This is one of our few volunteer opportunities for those who would like to help GPA Indy, but do not (yet?) have a Greyhound. Halloween Hound Hike

Where:	Indianapolis Canal Walk
Additional Information:	Join GPA Indy on our 2nd Hound Hike on the Indianapolis Canal! Walk at your own leisurely pace, enjoy the company of many other Greyhound adopters, and make new friends! Parking is available at our usual dog drop location, from there it's a very short walk to the start of the Canal where we will have a group photo made before embarking on our walk.
