If you want to live with the perfect dog, Archie is the man for you. Archie gets along with every creature he comes across. He slept with my cat the first night in our house. He mastered the stairs to the back yard with ease. He never tries to get on the couch. He loves to be loved on, but isn’t demanding that you do so. He’ll accept any affection you send his way.
Archie went to the Irvington Halloween Festival a mere four days after arriving from Florida, but you’d never know he wasn’t a seasoned Meet-and-Greeter.
Archie has found his voice, and will occasionally bark while outside if he hears another dog barking in the distance. I think he’s trying to introduce himself to the neighborhood dogs. He likes to carry stuffies around the house. He has only destroyed one, but I think he had help from one of my girls. He went on a home visit to a potential foster home and made friends with this person’s two dogs as soon as he walked in the door.
Did I mention he likes to snuggle? He would like to be touching someone most of the time. He likes to snuggle with the cat, with the dogs, with a human, any living creature will do.
So if you’d like a super handsome, loving, adorable, gentleman of a greyhound, there is no better choice than Archie.
