Dori
Arrived 9/22/2019
Gives hugs, very cute
12/3/2019: Dori is enjoying her retired life. It took Dori a little bit to get settled into her role as a pet, but once she got settled into our routine she did amazing. She has bloomed into a very vibrant and spunky little girl. She loves to cuddle and would happily curl up with you on the couch. She has learned the house rules and is quickly picking up on new things. For example we have taught our other two greys that they have to have their feet wiped off before they are allowed upstairs. She is learning this and is starting to get into the routine of it. That being said please know that she needs a family with patience (lots of it). She is 2 so she is still very much a puppy and does test the rules, but she responds well to a firm no. She only eats in her cage; she refuses to eat out of her raised feeder. We chose not to change her eating habits, but could slowly be changed if needed. She loves to play with toys and enjoys having a companion. So far we have found that Dori is not small animal safe. She does do great with kiddos. She does like to collect socks and other clothing items (we are slowly breaking that habit). Dori loves to go for walks, but is not a fan of the rain. She is still perfecting walking on a leash, but she is getting better. Dori is such a joy to have around and is always excited to see you when you get home. Ready to give you a hug and kiss.
