Use this service at your own risk!

This list is provided for the convenience of GPA Indianapolis's area adopters. GPA Indianapolis and all associated parties cannot be held liable for anything that happens to you, your pet/s or your home that is a result of the use of this service. This list is not associated with the GPA Indianapolis or any other greyhound organization and is solely a volunteer effort on our part to help connect those in need of a greyhound-savvy sitter with those that can provide assistance.

When making arrangements for sitting, talk frequently with each other by phone or e-mail to be sure all details (emergencies) are covered. Greyhound sitters should be sure that you have the time, energy and experience to sit. Pet owners should ensure that all conditions of the arrangement, such as providing food, medicine, toys, bedding, crates, baby-gates and/or muzzles, are met. Above all, know your pets and their needs to help avoid conflict between alpha and omega pets, greys and cats, greys and children, separation anxiety, etc. Be safe when meeting people for the first time. Meet in a public place. Let friends or family know where you will be and what you will be doing. It's better to be safe than sorry. You can go from that public place to your home if you feel comfortable. Above all, whether it's with the pets or the owners, keep safety first.

Thanks to all the families who extend their hearts and homes to help Greyhound families make sure their Greyhound family members have the best in care while away.

If you wish to add your name to the list, please include all information in an e-mail and mail to: Web_Administrator@GPAindy.org
